Speeding vehicles in residential areas is often a chief concern of many communities and subdivision groups. These vehicles can lead to increased dangers for children playing in the area, increased chance of crashes, and increased chance of serious injuries from those crashes.
In order to handle these concerns the Grand Blanc Township Police Department can gather data to determine when and how to best deter these dangerous drivers. The data is gathered through the use of speed messaging boards. These devices can tell the police department when vehicles are speeding, how fast they are going, and how many vehicles are speeding.
