Grand Blanc Township Gears Up for 2024 Community Clean Up
GRAND BLANC, MI— Grand Blanc Township will host their second annual Community Clean Up event on April 27th from 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.. This initiative reflects the Township's ongoing beautification efforts and commitment to making Grand Blanc Township a cleaner, more inviting place for all its residents.
“Last year, we had a wonderful group of volunteers who helped us remove over 170 garbage bags filled with trash from our community,” said Scott Bennett. “This year, we’re hoping to expand our number of volunteers and target even more areas of the Township.”
Community involvement is crucial for the success of this event, and Grand Blanc Township is calling on residents to show their community pride by volunteering. Interested groups and individuals can sign up at bit.ly/gbtcleanup.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to meet neighbors, make a difference in the community, and enjoy the outdoors. I’m looking forward to another great cleanup event!” said Melissa Roberts, Grand Blanc Township’s Executive Coordinator and the event coordinator.
The Township is proud to partner with local businesses and organizations, including Elga Credit Union, Grand Blanc Tap, and Faith Lutheran Church, to make this event possible. Thanks to generous community sponsors, transportation to various cleanup sites and all necessary gear will be provided to volunteers. Following the cleanup, volunteers are invited to a complimentary lunch as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication.
